Duties / Accountabilities:
 Manage Engineering Department to support all technical needs of rollout efficiently.
 Designs standardization & suggest and Approve site designs based on SBC/Structural stability.
 Providing site sharing feasibility for up gradation.
 Monitoring Variation orders & CPI
 Creating & implementing Departmental processes
 Creating cost effective & innovative Site Designs/solutions / Products / Processes to achieve CAPEX optimization with in- house abilities and /or engaging consultants. Providing multiple generalized and need specific solutions & getting approval on new designs from Govt. bodies like CDC,PTD etc. to cater to rollout requirements
 Prepare budget & ensure regular monitoring via CPI (cost performance indicator) & other dashboards.
 Developing Technical Solutions (passive infra) for the new business opportunities identified by BD / Sales team & providing technical inputs to internal customer (BD/sales teams) during MSA or RFP preparation from project planning perspective.
 Providing solutions to the technical issues faced by cluster/regional teams during project implementation for new and upgrade sites
 Formulating Site Planning & Design Guidelines for new sites & upgrade sites with an objective of achieving consistent roll-out across all clusters
 Formulating vendor Scope of Work, SLAs, Reporting formats, Dashboards etc. for any new product / solution
 Formulating Design & Implementation check procedures and checklists
 Handle New Product / Solution Introduction from its Development, Testing and Approval to finally inducting into the system.
 Reviewing Technical Deviations due to design changes on continuous basis.
 Identifying training needs for engineering/cluster / regional teams & vendors etc.

Requirements / Competencies
Knowledge:
 BE (Civil) ,M.E.(Structures) will be given preference
 Should have 10-20 yrs. of working experience with minimum 5yrs experience in structural designs
 Well versant with Auto cad 2013 and any structural design software like STAAD, E -TAB etc. Candidate with knowledge on any telecom/transmission tower design software will be given preference
 Candidate with knowledge of ANSI-TIA-222G,ACI 318 will be given preference
 Problem solving capability: Good analytical skills
 Conversant with structural design detailing, BOM preparations, Estimation & tendering
Personal attributes:
 Demonstrate strong leadership skills
 Computer literate with good understanding of MS Office ,candidates with knowledge of MS Projects or related software will be given preference
 Should be capable of handling a team of 15-20
 Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
