• Study Bidding Docs - Technical specifications;
• Cost Estimation for Substation and Transmission Line Projects;
• Prepare Technical documentations;
• Cross-function support to assist Tendering, Procurement and Design team;
• Documentation as per ISO requirements;

• B.Tech/ B.E (Electrical)
• Minimum 3 to 4 Years of experience in below field.
• Knowledge of IEC & IS Codes.
• Experience in Cost Estimation for 66kV and above Transmission line or Substation Projects.
• In-depth knowledge of method statements (nature and quantum of work, duration required for Substation equipment , Transmission line tower and Stringing works) for executing various installation, testing and commissioning works, Also estimate associated quantity & costs related to Man-days, wages, Equipment rental cost, and all other factors to derive the final working cost.
• Experience in calculating/ estimating BOQ of Substation materials like Cable, conductors, Clamps and connectors, Hardware fittings for String and Tension insulator sets, Cable Glands & lugs, Earthing material, Conductors, Cables, Trays etc.
• For Transmission line projects- To estimate the BOQ quantity of all the line materials right from Tension / suspension hardware and accessories for Conductors, OPGW and EW, Insulators, Conductors, EW, OPGW, Earthing materials, Tower Structures with all kinds of body extensions, Stubs etc. Also to calculate and estimate the associated direct & indirect cost associated for Transmission line Tower Installation and stringing works.
• Knowledge about Local Standards, Laws, Norms, Labor laws and rates in all different states.
• Fool proof Estimation Techniques.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel (application of required high end formulae) for costing, estimation and detailed work purpose.
• Spoken Communication in English – Fair Skill is desired
• Written Communication in English – Good skill is desired.
