PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• The Field Operator / Geophysical technician will be primarily responsible for field data acquisition, preventative maintenance, and if necessary assist in troubleshooting state-of-the-art geophysical equipment.
• Oversee and participate in service quality review meetings for field geophysical\Geotechnical staff.
• Responsibilities include the preliminary assessment of data quality, application of infield QA/AC procedures and interaction with contractor and client representatives.
• Proficiency in acquisition of the following surveys (Training will be given where needed):
(a). Proficiency in the acquisition of 2-D/3-D IP data.
(b). Proficiency in the acquisition of Gravity and Magnetic data.
(c). Proficiency in the acquisition FDEM and TDEM data.
(d). Proficiency in the acquisition of Refraction and MASW Seismic data.
• Conduct damage assessment of equipment in the field and if necessary repairs of field equipment.
• Must competently follow the instruction of the Crew Chief or site Geophysicist and follow the QA/QC procedures, HSE procedures for IP, EM, Gravity, magnetic and Seismic data acquisition and preparatory surveys.
• HSE: Participate fully in safety programs including adhering to and implementing Client Company approved safety regulations in general.

- Bachelor Degree in Geology
- High proficiency in both written & spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computing skills
- Ability to work independently and willingness to travel to the remote area of the field site.
- Previous experience with hand on acquisition of Geophysical data is preferred



Technical Skills Requirements
- Ability to lead small Geophysical teams independently of the main office is remote settings.
