One of our portfolio businesses is seeking a dedicated Head of Finance to supervise all financial tasks and ensure all capital and resources are utilized beneficially across a group of boutique marketing communications businesses. To be successful in this role, the applicant should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.

Ultimately, the applicant will be in charge of maintaining and growing the group's financial health and profitability.

Key Responsibilities include:
Thorough understanding of all applicable laws and regulations to ensure entire compliance
Conduct risk management
Supervise and nurture a small team of accountants ensuring their growth and professional development
Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
Approve or reject budgets based on feasibility
Allocate resource and manage cash flows
Conduct profit and cost analyses; recommending cost-reduction solutions where appropriate
Participate in all the operational discussions of the group; developing a holistic knowledge of the businesses—not just the financial aspects
Evaluate and decide on investments
Consult board members about funding options
Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

Excellent Burmese and English language
Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar
In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
Proficiency in accounting software
Solid analytical and decision-making skills
Team management while providing support to management
Tax and audit knowledge will be viewed beneficially
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field or B.Com
ACCA (Part 2 finished or Part 3 studying) /CPA is preferred

Experience in a marketing communications business preferred
