Looking for HSE Officer Document Controller / Site Inspectors to be assigned in Mandalay and NayPyiTaw

Key Responsibilities

HSE Officer:

-Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
-Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
-Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
-Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
-Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
-Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
-Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.

Document Controller:

-Responsible for all document control activities for the Company and projects.
-Provide professional document control duties applying diversified knowledge and experience of document control and filing practices to support construction projects.
-Organize and file current document backlog from project job packages per the company’s current filing
process.
-Assist team in scanning, organizing, and indexing critical documentation.
-Maintain updated submittal log, monitor the submittal schedule and status.
-Transmit documentation and submittals through the Clients SharePoint system.
-Receive, log, and track plans and specifications as received including all revisions.

Site Inspectors

-Familiarize with all the relevant drawings and written instructions, checking them and using them to refer to when inspecting the work.
-Conduct visual inspections.
-Taking measurements and samples on site to make sure the work and the materials meet the correct specifications and quality standards.
-Being familiar with the legal requirements and checking the work complies with them.
-Have a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, bringing any shortfalls observed to the attention of the person(s) concerned.

Experience: Must have 4 or more years in construction in similar position with similar responsibilities.
Education: Degree in engineering or construction management is required.
