- To oversee the legal aspects of PTTEPI business; safeguard PTTEPI and its affiliates reputation by
guaranteeing that the company follows law guidelines and give legal advice to colleagues and
management about all relevant issues.
- Give accurate and timely counsel in a variety of legal topics (employment labor law, company act,
international ventures, investment law, petroleum law etc.) in routine.
- Draft, review, revise and register legal documents with the authority in order to support business
operations.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, other legal documents, and letters and correspondences to
ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the company.
- Regularly monitor the registration and legal documents and specify internal governance policies.
- Provide detailed/ ad-hoc advice and guidance to clients on legal matters, based on a full
understanding of the matter and including detailing options and consequences, to enable the
client to take the optimum legal and commercial decision
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decision and operations.
- Keep management abreast laws and regulations (Myanmar) that may have implications to
-PTTEPI and report to the management or concerned functions.
- Manage legal process, litigations and business transactions.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Law;
- Prefer Myanmar qualified lawyer with 3-5 years of post-qualified experience gained in an
international law firm or private practice and/or multinational company;
- Extensive knowledge of Myanmar laws (commercial law, especially Myanmar labour law, Investment
law, Petroleum law etc.);
- High work ethic;
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills;
- Self-driven and resourceful;
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent written and spoken English, and research skills;
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
