Legal Counsel at Multinational Brewing Company

o Advise the company and its subsidiary on all legal related matters and act as Company Secretary in secretarial matters.
o Up to 3,000,000 MMK + benefits

About the Company

Our client is the fourth largest brewery group in the world and has employed more than 40,000 people. They divide their operations into three market areas across continents.

The Role

● Provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice and solutions for all aspects of the business
● Ensure the activities of the company and its subsidiary are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal company policies
● Deal with termination of contracts and commercial disputes
● Liaise and interact with external lawyers on various matters
● Provide legal training and briefing on updates on the law and group internal policies
● Prepare board and shareholders resolutions, arranging for circulation and signing

● Minimum 5 years of working experience as a lawyer
● Strong command of English and Burmese
● Strong commercial law background and knowledge on corporate business law, company secretarial and compliance matters
