1. Pre Project-Preparation

• Studies the bid document thoroughly and prepare for pre bid queries.
• Attends the pre bid meeting along with Contracts division manager.
• Meet clients and finalize project in terms of time frame, complications involved, risks etc.
• Visit the dredging site and finalize detailed methodology for project execution logistics support and equipment requirement.
• Prepare budget and identify the Working Capital requirement.
• Set up Project office/site

2. Project Execution

• Monitoring daily production / performance of the dredgers.
• Conduct and check surveys to monitor progress.
• Co-ordinate with clients and agents for berthing and other requirements involving the port / client.
• Provide day today support with dredgers and co-ordinate with local firms to fulfil dredger requirement.
• Keep in close co-ordination with clients and appraise them project progress. Keep track of timelines, penalties that are likely to be imposed, suggest methods to prevent the same and take corrective actions.

3. Contract management

• Obtain necessary clearances for the equipment engagement and demobilizing.
• Fulfil local rules and regulations in co-ordination with the clients as per the terms of the contract and submit various guarantees in connection with the project to clients.
• Carry out Hydro graphic surveys / billing surveys as specified in the contract.
• Inform corporate office regarding various terms of contract which needs their intervention.
• 2 Co-ordinate with the Engineer of the project for variations /deviations / extensions as defined in the contract.
• Prepare Charts to the scale and in number as specified in the contract.

4. Invoicing / billing / realization of funds :-

• Complete project and demobilization of equipment Generate billing as per the terms of the contract.
• Pursue client for release of payments, wind up project / site office and prepare a detailed project report.

• Degree in Hydrology/ River Engineer or relevant field
• 10 Years of relevant experience
• Working experience in dredging projects /Ports /Port Channels etc.
• In depth knowledge of project management process in dredging
• Broad knowledge of Technical features of various types of dredgers
