Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents based on drawings and project specifications.

Review and analyze tender submissions, quotations, and contract documents to support procurement and award recommendations.

Conduct cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting throughout project stages.

Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims, ensuring accurate cost and time impact assessments.

Prepare and process interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts in coordination with project and finance teams.

Monitor project expenditure and maintain up-to-date cost records and financial reports.

Assist in value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding contractual and commercial matters.

Ensure all work complies with contract conditions, project specifications, and company policies.

Support the Project Manager and Cost Manager in financial planning, risk assessment, and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certification (MRICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is an advantage.

5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control, preferably in construction or engineering projects.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC), cost estimation methods, and procurement processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, CANDY, or similar).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Chinese and other languages is an advantage.
