 Assess total costs of company purchases
 Perform spending and cost analysis for each purchase category
 Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
 Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services
 Evaluate and enhance operations in local spend while researching and prospecting opportunities in global spend (i.e. tap into group negotiated conditions when available and relevant)
 Manage every aspect of the supply chain (demand management, order delivery, payment conditions) and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to maximum efficiency
 Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity
 Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality, delivery times or cash needs
 Organize tenders, negotiate and draft agreements whenever necessary
 Implement group purchasing policies and coordinate with Supply Chain Function at group level
 Track and report quantitative (financial and non-financial) & qualitative benefits of improvement programs
 Reports to the Regional Director/Country Manager and Regional/Group SCM

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science
 6+ years’ experience in procurement or purchasing
 2+ years’ experience in Telecom infrastructure supply industry preferred

 Managerial, organizational and training skills - superior
 Multilingual preferred, Myanmar and professional English language required
 Track record, references and reputation weight more than training certificates
 Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) diploma or equivalent appreciated
