The Employee shall be employed as Senior Environmental Engineer, reporting to the Managing Director and based in Myanmar.
The Employee’s main duties shall be:

a) Environmental & Social Impact Assessments, Initial Environmental Examination, and Environmental studies

• working on the Environmental studies performed by Artelia;
• liaising with internal team, clients, suppliers and local authorities;
• carrying out specific projects and research;                                 
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

b) Field missions

• Organization and participation to field surveys and public consultations in Myanmar
• Presenting studies and discussing with stakeholders during public meetings
• Soil & water sampling on the field
• Social field surveys
• Taking notes during meetings
• Carrying out specific projects and research

• Minimum bachelor degree in the field of Environment or related
• At least 5 years of experience in Environmental & Social Impact Assessments and good knowledge of the “EIA Procedure (2015)”
• Environment enthusiast
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and e-mails
• Proficiency in both Myanmar and English language
• Capable of working individually or as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working in an international and multicultural environment
• Capable of working under pressure
• Proactive person
