Senior/Junior Web Developer
 Department: Research & Development
 Reports to: Head of Engineering
We are seeking a creative Web Developer that can work with our technology team to achieve our business’ digital goals. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of latest web trend and an ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website’s influence in our industry. The successful candidate will report to the “Head of Engineering”.
Job purpose
The Web Developer will be responsible for updating our current product functions, as well as developing and implementing a usability testing process to ensure that new website applications meet our company’s requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient codes by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.

Skills and specifications:
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
• Familiarity with the following programming language: PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, HTTP Protocol.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process.

Traits of a good Web Developer:
 Able to diagnose problems fast and has creative problem solving skills
 Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple task within the constrains of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
 Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
 BS in computer science or related field.
