Plan, manage, and control production processes for Panel Boards (LV/MV) and Transformers (Distribution/Power) . Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on capacity, manpower, and machine availability to achieve targets. Monitor and improve production efficiency, yield, downtime, and waste through continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with applicable standards and testing procedures (routine and type tests). Review BOMs, drawings, and technical specifications , and resolve production-related technical issues. Ensure full compliance with safety policies on the production floor. Control production costs by minimizing material wastage, rework, and scrap . Lead and manage Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Technicians , including training and skill development. Evaluate engineering feasibility and production readiness for new projects and customized orders. Prepare and submit production KPIs, efficiency reports, and corrective action plans to management. Work closely with Maintenance, Planning, QA, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
Implement a behavioral competency framework to support performance improvement across the organization. Conduct internal diagnostics and process reviews to identify barriers to performance, and research best practices to propose solutions. Support management in talent management, succession planning, and other strategic initiatives to enhance workforce development. Design and implement e-learning courses, workshops, and in-person training tailored to organizational needs, ensuring alignment with company goals and employee development. Collaborate with Department Heads to create personalized development plans, focusing on skill enhancement and career progression. Conduct assessments to identify employee development needs and prioritize training initiatives for maximum impact. Oversee the development of the Annual Training and Development Plan, managing the budget to ensure effective resource allocation. Deliver Orientation Programs and initial skills training for new recruits, ensuring all employees receive appropriate onboarding. Promote a service-oriented culture by regularly measuring learner feedback and communicating insights to management and staff for continuous improvement. Train and develop departmental trainers and oversee their continuous professional growth through workshops and meetings. Guide managers and supervisors in developing their teams through coaching and mentoring programs. Assess the return on investment (ROI) for training and development programs and ensure that these initiatives align with strategic goals. Prepare monthly Employee Development reports and maintain accurate training records. Collaborate with the VP-HR to contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies, ensuring they support overall organizational goals. Oversee the annual appraisal process, ensuring consistency and quality in appraisal documentation. Regularly review training and development best practices, staying informed of trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Manage HOD Schedule,including meeting,appointment and travel arrangements. Prepare reports,presentation and official documents as required. Handle correspondence(emails,letters)and prioritize urgent matters. Maintain and orgainze technical document,project files and engineering reports. Ensure proper filing and retrieval of design specifications,test reports and quality documents. Schedule,prepare agendas and record minutes for technical and project meetings. Maintain a professional and organized work enviroment. Coordinate with external stakeholders such as suppliers,clinets and regulatory bodies. Relay technial and administrative messsages accurately.
