Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Installation Management Lead and manage all mechanical assembly and electrical installation activities for LV/MV switchgear and control panels. Translate engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs into executable production plans. Ensure installation works comply with approved designs, specifications, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO). Balance production capacity, manpower, and resources to meet delivery milestones. 2. Quality, Safety & Compliance Enforce strict adherence to quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout installation stages. Ensure full compliance with electrical safety regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and factory HSE policies. Coordinate internal inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and corrective actions. 3. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, and installers across mechanical and electrical disciplines. Allocate tasks based on competency, workload, and project priority. Foster a culture of accountability, safety awareness, and continuous learning. 4. Planning, Scheduling & Cost Control Develop detailed production schedules aligned with project timelines and customer commitments. Monitor productivity, material usage, and installation efficiency to control cost and minimize waste. Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of materials and components. 5. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, QA/QC, Supply Chain, and Project teams to ensure smooth execution. Act as the primary production interface for resolving technical or execution-related issues. Support commissioning and site teams by ensuring factory-built panels meet installation readiness standards. 6. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce rework, and improve installation quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and standardized work practices. Analyze production KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
