Conduct building and property risk assessments for commercial and industrial risks. Assess building construction, structural condition, materials, age, alterations, and general physical condition. Identify potential building and structural risks, including those related to seismic and other natural catastrophe exposures. Prepare risk assessment reports with clear findings and practical recommendations. Conduct site inspections and verify relevant building and property information. Support Underwriting, Claims, and Business Development teams on risk-related matters. Support assessment of fire, electrical, mechanical, occupancy, storage, and other property risks when required. Keep updated on relevant building standards, risk engineering practices, and insurance requirements.
Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices. Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients. Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned. Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning. Follow the latest industry development and stay up to date on corporate competitors.
