1. Product development Assist in developing and testing food products (e.g., formulations, recipes, and prototypes). Prepare samples and follow test protocols for sensory, chemical, and physical properties. Check the quality, color, texture, flavor, and appearance of food products. Record and report trial results and assist in making improvements. Maintain proper documentation of formulations and test results. 2. Support: lab team Support the food application team and customer request (e.g., formulations, prototype samples). Clean the lab and food processing area daily, including: – Washing utensils, glassware, and equipment (mixers, blenders, ovens, etc.). – Sanitizing work benches and surfaces. – Properly disposing of food waste and chemicals. Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration (if applicable), and maintenance. Assist in preparing, weighing, and labeling raw materials and ingredients. Keep all equipment and supplies organized and in good condition. 3. Documentation Write daily and monthly reports of activities, test results, and product trials. Maintain accurate records of prototype sample preparation and test data. Update formulation sheets and product development logs. 4. Reporting & Communication Report to the supervisor (Food Application) on daily progress. Communicate any issues, deviations, or improvements to the supervisor. Work with other departments (production, sales, BO) as required. 5. Other required tasks according to the assignment Assist in sensory evaluation, consumer testing and customer training (e.g., taste panels). Help with pilot-scale production and product trials when needed. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
