Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the school’s academic programmes and curriculum. Support teachers in lesson planning, curriculum delivery, assessment, and classroom management. Monitor teaching quality and provide constructive feedback to teachers. Conduct regular classroom observations and follow up on areas for improvement. Coordinate academic schedules, timetables, examinations, assessments, and academic events. Monitor students’ academic progress and identify students who may require additional support. Work closely with teachers to develop appropriate academic intervention and improvement plans. Review schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and students’ academic records. Ensure that curriculum requirements and school academic policies are consistently followed. Organise and facilitate academic meetings, teacher training, workshops, and professional development activities. Support new teachers with induction and orientation programmes. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required. Prepare academic reports, records, and updates for school management. Work collaboratively with the Head of Centre, teachers, assistants, and other departments. Support the school in maintaining a positive, professional, and student-centred learning environment. Carry out other academic duties assigned by the school management.

Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons for Secondary students in accordance with the Pearson Computing curriculum. Teach key Computing concepts including programming, computational thinking, algorithms, databases, networks, cybersecurity, data representation and digital technologies. Teach and support students in Python programming, coding, problem-solving and debugging. Develop students’ computational thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through practical activities and projects. Prepare and deliver practical Computing activities, projects, worksheets, quizzes and assessments. Prepare students for Pearson Computing assessments and examinations by providing curriculum-aligned practice and exam preparation. Differentiate lessons and provide appropriate support and extension activities according to students’ abilities. Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning. Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. Integrate appropriate digital tools and educational technologies into lessons. Keep up to date with developments in Computing, programming, AI and emerging technologies. Work collaboratively with teachers, academic staff and school management to support students’ academic development. Maintain accurate records of lesson planning, assessment and student progress. Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development and other duties as required.

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the Pearson curriculum objectives and the school's scheme of work, demonstrating a clear understanding of progression and continuity. Effectively differentiate teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils. Implement both formative and summative assessment strategies to measure pupil attainment and progress accurately. Provide timely, constructive, and meaningful written and oral feedback. Confidently integrate ICT skills (including Microsoft and Google Workspace tools) and digital learning resources into daily teaching to enhance curriculum delivery and student engagement. Create a stimulating and organised classroom environment, managing all teaching resources, and contributing to the development of the subject area within the school. Promote the general progress and well-being of all pupils, acting as a primary point of contact for parents/guardians regarding student social, emotional, and academic development. Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour within the classroom and around the school in accordance with the school's policies. Communicating with the Head of Centre and Principal as required. Engage proactively in all school-based and external Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to improve professional practice and keep abreast of developments in primary education and curriculum requirements.
