The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of the school to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized learning environment. This includes managing school facilities, transportation services, school buses, maintenance, security, procurement, health and safety compliance, school events, and support staff operations. The Operations Manager works closely with school leadership, teachers, parents, and external vendors to support smooth and effective school operations. General School Operations Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the school. Ensure school facilities are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. Monitor operational budgets and control expenses effectively. Manage procurement of supplies, equipment, and services. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with school regulations, safety standards, and local laws. Transportation & School Bus Management Supervise all school transportation services and bus operations. Prepare and manage bus routes and schedules efficiently. Coordinate with bus drivers, transportation staff, and parents. Ensure all school buses meet safety and maintenance requirements. Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and performance. Maintain transportation records, fuel logs, maintenance records, and student transportation lists. Handle transportation-related incidents and parent concerns professionally. Conduct regular inspections of school buses and transportation procedures. Ensure student safety during arrival, dismissal, and transportation activities. School Events & Activities Support Assist in planning and coordinating school events, activities, ceremonies, and meetings. Ensure operational readiness for events, including transportation, seating, facilities setup, security, and logistics. Coordinate staff and vendors to support successful event execution. Supervise crowd management, parking, and student safety during school events. Provide operational support during extracurricular activities, field trips, and special programs. Ensure timely preparation and cleanup before and after events. Staff Supervision Supervise operational support staff including drivers, cleaners, security guards, and maintenance personnel. Conduct staff scheduling and performance monitoring. Support recruitment, training, and evaluation of operational staff. Health, Safety & Security Ensure school safety procedures are implemented effectively. Coordinate emergency drills and crisis response procedures. Maintain health and safety standards across the school campus. Work closely with security personnel to maintain campus security. Communication & Coordination Liaise with parents regarding transportation and operational matters. Coordinate with school administration and academic departments. Maintain positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children’s learning and growth • Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills • Provides activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children. • Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development • Submit weekly lesson plans to the Principal • Participate in open houses, parent conferences, school registration, concerts, and other special programs as appropriate and/or as assigned • Interacts with parents and community groups; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the program and supporting the child's family relationships. • Attend staff, parent, and committee meetings as directed • Report to the Principal of the School.
