Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant IT Manager / IT Administrator to join our team in Myport. The ideal candidate will support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, systems, and software applications within the factory. This role requires both hands-on technical support and strategic coordination to ensure smooth and secure IT operations that support manufacturing efficiency in line with Group standards. A strong command of spoken and written English is essential for this position. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with Group IT, Security teams, vendors, and international stakeholders, participate in technical discussions and meetings, prepare documentation, and follow technical instructions and procedures without communication barriers. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary local IT contact for Myport, coordinating closely with the Group Infrastructure, Service Desk, Cyber Security and Production IT Manager, teams to ensure effective delivery of IT services and support for factory operations. Provide day-to-day IT support for factory users, ensuring the stable operation of end-user computing environments, including desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, tablets, mobile devices, and site-based systems such as CCTV, PBX, and PA systems where applicable. Ensure all IT incidents, service requests, changes, tasks, and problems are accurately logged, updated, and managed in the Halo ITSM platform in full compliance with Group IT policies and ITIL-based service management processes. Support factory business applications, production systems, inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and other operational software to ensure uninterrupted business continuity. Manage user lifecycle processes, including onboarding and offboarding, hardware provisioning, account creation, access requests, and coordination with relevant Group IT teams. Use Ninja RMM to support monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and endpoint management activities, including patching and software deployment as directed by Group IT. Maintain accurate IT asset records, configuration data, documentation, and lifecycle information using Hudu CMDB and other approved Group systems. Coordinate with Infrastructure and Service Desk teams to support factory-related requirements across network connectivity, servers, cloud services, Microsoft 365, and enterprise systems, ensuring all changes are implemented in line with Group IT standards and approvals. Support the implementation and enforcement of Group cybersecurity policies and standards, ensuring compliance across all local IT activities and timely completion of assigned security remediation tasks. Collaborate with the Cyber Security team on security audits, vulnerability management, user access reviews, phishing simulations, KnowBe4 training programs, Keeper password management adoption, and other security awareness initiatives. Ensure all IT activities comply with Group IT governance requirements, with any deviations appropriately escalated for approval prior to implementation. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT hardware procurement, maintenance contracts, telecommunications services, and other site-based IT requirements. Deliver basic IT guidance and training to end users on approved systems, applications, and cybersecurity best practices to improve overall IT awareness and compliance. Support internal and external IT audits and ensure adherence to Group IT policies, cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001:2022), and applicable regulatory requirements. Prepare reports, participate in technical discussions and meetings, and communicate effectively in English with Group IT teams and international stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and execution of documented instructions and procedures.
