• Identify potential local suppliers based on pricing, quality, and reliability; able to travel across the country to negotiate and establish contracts • Identify cost-saving opportunities and issue purchase orders • Monitor supply and demand to ensure adequate inventory for production. • Stay informed about new products and market conditions to develop appropriate sourcing strategies. • Provide track records and support to the management. • Experienced in working with raw material suppliers, with a strong ability to analyse data and generate insights to support decision-making. • Act as a window between the Planning and R&D departments, ensuring effective communication. • Support supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms and pricing.
