Plan, organize, and execute events, meetings, and activities to support agency development and engagement. Develop internal and external communication materials to promote agency initiatives. Act as the liaison between the agency and stakeholders to ensure alignment in messaging and strategic goals. The Distribution Communication and Engagement Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of distribution channel-related events, partnership development, and engagement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in driving distribution business growth by fostering strong relationships with external organizations, supporting business development activities, and maintaining ongoing engagement with existing partners. What are we expecting from this role? Assist the BD Manager in the creation and implementation of strategic business initiatives. Provide regular updates and reporting on agency engagement metrics and partnership progress Support agency and brand expansion activities for specified cities Ensure all communication adheres to regulatory and brand guidelines.
Making underwriting decisions (whether to accept an application for insurance coverage) with integrity and honesty (assessing, classifying, and selecting risk, and determining the premium, terms, and conditions according to the level of risk that each presents). Act promptly, while exercising sound, objective, and consistent judgment in making underwriting decisions Treat all underwriting information with the utmost confidentiality and use it only for the express purpose of evaluating and classifying risk. Effective communication with customers, colleagues, healthcare providers, and distribution teams to ensure the company can deliver the best service to customers. Insurance training for the distribution channels Provider network development, including a tie-up with new medical centers, hospitals, and clinics, provider network expansion through auditing and maintaining the existing network with regular visits and engagement. Ability to build good interpersonal relationships and work well in a team, and be good at problem-solving. Be eager to learn and develop the skills. Responsibility for quality, accuracy, and turnaround time related to reporting. Performing other tasks with time constraints assigned by the line manager. Explain to customers when they need further clarification about health conditions (e.g., Rating up cases and/or postponing cases) Ability to interpret health condition customers once they receive medical reports from panel clinics. Performing other tasks assigned by line management. Work closely with the transformation team/any stakeholders to implement new initiative-related underwriting.
Compensation and Campaign Management : Interpret compensation and benefits requests, assess the underlying requirements, and identify or develop appropriate solutions. Conduct business simulations for new campaigns to assess projected performance, financial impact, and cost‑benefit scenarios, providing insights to guide strategic decision‑making. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to PMLI compensation practices. Conduct comprehensive analytics and research on agency compensation and benefits to support informed management decision‑making and ensure competitive compensation structures. Use data analytics to uncover business opportunities and actionable insights that drive agent productivity and revenue growth across all distribution channels, supporting recruitment efforts, incentive trips, and ad-hoc contests. Perform post‑campaign reviews and recommend improvements. Monitor the effectiveness of compensation and campaign performance to ensure cost efficiency and recommend improved practices to optimize overall cost effectiveness. Work with finance, marketing and any relevant team to align distribution campaign and incentive plans with company objectives and communication plan. Provide guidance and explanation on the approved compensation and campaign scheme for the sales force. Initiatives Management : Lead or support the development of annual and quarterly sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategic priorities and channel needs. Conduct feasibility studies, business simulation, and scenario modeling to estimate initiative impact and cost‑benefit outcomes. Drive end‑to‑end initiative execution, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and quality standards are met. Coordinate with initiative owners and channel heads to ensure clarity of roles, milestones, and required actions. Develop initiative‑management dashboards and tracker to support effective execution. Identify risks, roadblocks, and dependencies; escalate to management with mitigation recommendations. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on initiative progress, risks, and impacts. Support or lead the assigned initiatives or cross‑functional projects. Business Forecasting & Insights Perform business forecasting based on business performance trends. Support the yearly business planning and budgeting process in alignment with Group requirements. Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards for sales force effectiveness and ensure timely and effective execution. Support in preparation and delivery of ad-hoc presentations or reports for effective management decision. Conduct root cause analysis and scenario modeling to support business decisions. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, business growth, and process improvement. Work closely with Head of Departments, senior leaders and counterparts from other departments and other LBUs. Develop data modeling and visualization using Power BI and Power Query and develop and maintain technical documentation for all BI solutions. Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Support investment manager in drafting investment proposals. Assist in investment execution, cash movement, cash flow reports preparation and cash flow projections for Myanmar. Build and maintain relationships with banks and investment counterparties. Handle information gathering from bank counterparties and work with PMLI compliance team in performing sanctions screening and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) due diligence. Assist in monitoring and reconciling repayments collected from investing counterparties. Calculate investment portfolio performance measures for PMLI such as yield, duration, portfolio concentration, credit limit utilization, etc. Support in preparing investment performance reports to PMLI Investment Committee (IC) through quarterly IC meeting or ad-hoc basis (if needed). Support in credit rating review of all counterparties annually and monitoring financial covenants of counterparts quarterly for PMLI. Assist in performing annual risk and compliance exercises for PMLI. Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Coordination with BDMs & Agency Leaders Work closely with BDMs to ensure consistent execution across teams Follow up regularly to ensure actions are completed Support BDMs in driving discipline and performance within their teams 6.
