Pun + Projects, the brainchild of Ivan Pun-a young, intelligent and ambitious entrepreneur has established itself as an ‘ideas incubator’ for different business and event concepts in Myanmar.

With a company concept that has always been to promote and develop the arts, culture and food scene in Yangon; Pun + Projects also strives to have a strong design focus, that is very well conceived and thought out; and in particular look aesthetically pleasing, down to the smallest facet.

Since 2013, when the company was set-up, Pun + Projects has grown to encompass deliverables that distinctly include creating and executing their own projects, sponsoring events and facilitating the projects of other innovators. This sponsorship or support is potentially all-inclusive and can range from developing design ideas to creating business models.

Most notably projects have included the highly popular restaurant, Port Autonomy, as a modern take on the Myanmar beer hall; TS1, as an art space to provide a creative outlet for local and international designers; La Carovana, a fine dining restaurant that serves contemporary Mediterranean cuisine; and The New Boris, a discreet and hip cocktail bar
