Job Summary

The 3D Designer is responsible for creating innovative and functional 3D designs for ball pens and related stationery products. The role involves product modeling, rendering, prototype development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support new product development and continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings for ball pens and stationery products.
• Develop product concepts and transform them into manufacturable designs.
• Prepare detailed design specifications, dimensions, and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Quality, and Marketing teams throughout the product development process.
• Modify and improve existing product designs based on technical requirements and customer feedback.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
• Ensure design compliance with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
• Maintain and update design files, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in 3D design, product design, or industrial design.
• Experience in stationery, plastic products, consumer goods, or manufacturing industries is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Fusion 360, Blender, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, rendering, and technical drawing.
• Understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Language Skills

• Basic to intermediate English communication skills preferred.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willing to learn new design technologies and manufacturing methods.
