Job Summary:
The Teacher Assistant supports the lead teacher in caring for and educating young children aged 1.5 to 6 years. This role involves nurturing children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based and structured activities in a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and preparing age-appropriate learning activities for toddlers and preschoolers
• Support children during daily routines (arrival, meals, naps, toileting, and playtime)
• Provide individual attention to support developmental needs
• Help develop early skills such as language, motor coordination, and social interaction
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times, including indoor and outdoor activities
• Use positive behavior guidance to manage classroom interactions
• Assist with creative activities such as art, music, storytelling, and sensory play
• Observe and report children’s development, behavior, and any concerns to the teacher
• Support smooth transitions between activities and routines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field)
• Understanding of child development (ages 1.5–6 years)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring, and responsible attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience in preschool, daycare, or kindergarten settings
• First aid and child safety certification
• Knowledge of play-based or child-centered learning approaches
