Teaching and Learning
Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work
Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned students, making accurate and productive use of assessment
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of students
Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students
Promote good progress and outcomes by students
Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
Participate in arrangements for preparing students for external tests

Qualifications and experience
Suitable EAL qualification eg CELTA Degree
Successful teaching experience
Experience in teaching EAL
Experience working and teaching students aged 7 – 11
Able to work collaboratively and co-teach with classroom teachers
Confident in English structure and grammar.
