German AssociateTeachers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Ensure to are familiar with and understand the Academic Integrity policy, and the assessment, and all other related policies.
• Be an effective, compassionate, and caring teacher who is responsible for the planning, teaching, learning, and student assessment in the class and the school.
• Coordinate the German program across all branches.
• Raise standards of student attainment and achievement of the German curriculum and monitor and support student progress.
• Access, provide feedback, and report on student learning and progress.
• Utilize the varieties of different teaching styles for each student if required.
• Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their potential.
• Develop a quality learning program, be supportive, discipline and create a safe learning environment including student behaviors.
• Engage professionally in teaching and interactions with students, leadership team, colleagues, and parents.
• Be flexible in hybrid teaching and learning environments.
• Encourage the students to participate in school-related activities occasionally.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and able to arrange the meetings if parents request upon the requirements for students.
• Participate in co-curriculum activities, school duty covers and events as and when necessary

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in German.
• Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in an international school environment), working with same age group
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be fluent in spoken and written in German with Academic standard as well as in English
• Have great knowledge and understandings of current educational philosophy
• Be a strong team player, initiative and motivated
• Be able to build and sustain professional standards and relationships with students
• Be able to contribute towards creating a safe and protective environment
