About the Role

We are seeking a manager-level Project Engineer to lead and oversee diverse GBS' construction projects, including office buildings, warehouses, and factories across Ayeyarwaddy, Thilawa SEZ, Mandalay, and Magway regions. Operating under the Corporate Administration Department, you will be responsible for end-to-end management, inspection, and quality supervision of all ongoing and future GBS group development projects.

Job Description

• Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements for upcoming building projects.

   

• Scrutinize maintenance and material costs to ensure the best possible agreements and budget adherence.

   

• Coordinate effectively with site engineers, labor supervisors, and contractors to ensure seamless project flow.

   

• Ensure the timely procurement and supply of correct construction materials at optimized prices.

   

• Prepare and analyze reports, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments for management review.

   

• Inspect building designs and layout plans, coordinating necessary changes regarding budget updates.

   

• Monitor construction materials constantly to pre-order items as needed for operational readiness.

Job Overview

• Working Hour: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Working Day: Monday to Saturday

• Holiday: Sunday and Gazette Holidays

• Report To: Head of Corporate Administration

• Work Location: GBS Head Office, Hlaing Township, Yangon

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with relevant professional certificates.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in construction project management, minimum 2 years of management experience in project management

• Proficiency in design software such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

• Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and a valid driving license for site travel.
