Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ).
  • Conduct cost analysis and provide budget control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and progress payments
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to manage budgets and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local construction standards, codes, and contractual requirements
  • Provide risk analysis and cost-saving recommendations
  • Prepare final accounts and financial reports for completed projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor
  • Knowledge of civil construction methods, cost estimation, and procurement
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of cost management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP, or Cost X) is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
