MC-Jalux Airport Services Co., Ltd (MJAS) was founded in conjunction with the two Japanese companies of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and JALUX Inc. (JALUX); and one Myanmar’s SPA, affiliated group-company of Yoma Development Group Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. (YOMA). MC and JALUX each hold 45.5% of shares, while YOMA holds the remaining 9%.

MJAS has been operating Mandalay International Airport since the 1st of April 2015 by the signed concession agreement of 30 years with Myanmar’s Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). MJAS undertakes the operation of the airport for both airside and landside, including passenger and ground handling services, facility maintenance, security and airport rescue and fire-fighting services. The project made history, as the first Japanese company to be a one hundred percent private equity in operating an airport abroad.

Mandalay International Airport is the second major gateway to Myanmar located at the centre of the country with 4,267m x 61m runway, which can accommodate aircraft as large as B747-400. We continue to contribute to the development of Myanmar through our committed service in operating all services at the airport, providing secure, safe and comfortable travel experiences with excellent services and through enhancing air transport networks.

Provide primary healthcare services to airport staff, passengers, and stakeholders in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Administer first aid treatment, conduct basic health assessments, and respond to medical emergencies at the airport clinic or on-site as required. Coordinate with emergency medical services (ambulance/hospital) for critical medical cases. Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the clinic facility and medical equipment. Accurately document and report patient care activities and clinic utilization data in accordance with departmental procedures. Monitor medical supply inventory, ensuring proper storage, timely replenishment, and availability of first aid kits. Support health and safety promotion initiatives and workplace hygiene programs as needed. Work within a rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous medical support and operational coverage at the airport clinic.
Operate, monitor, and maintain 33/11kV power substation and distribution systems under the supervision of Unit Manager. Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and fault troubleshooting for substation equipment and distribution lines. Operate and maintain stand-by generators while grid power features as of airport backup power distribution. Provide support for airfield ground lighting (AGL) facilities to maintain safe aircraft operations, including runway and taxiway lighting systems. Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of airport electrical systems, lighting, and related electrical infrastructure as required. Record operational data and prepare maintenance reports as required.
Assist to the senior coworker not only office work but also the technical jobs. Sorting and responding to the incoming emails. Shall utilize the office appliances such as copiers, printers and personal computers for daily job assignments. Maintaining the office documentation, technical documentation and service logs on installation of software, configuration of Hardware, Software, Database and troubleshooting. Negotiating with the technology vendors for the IT maintenance service agreements. Shall be responsible for procurement of the IT hardware and software (including PCs, peripherals, servers, networking equipment,operating systems and other software) by preparing & processing necessary documentation.
Oversee and manage daily operations, ensuring all tasks are executed accurately, consistently, and on time. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing workflows and actively propose and implement improvements to enhance transparency and reduce manual tasks. Organize, analyze, and present operational data and statistics in a clear and concise manner to support senior management’s decision-making. Serve as a liaison with government departments and agencies; prepare drafts of official correspondence, handle license renewals, regulatory submissions, and documentation with DICA, MIC, and other relevant authorities. Promote a positive and supportive professional work environment where team members can grow, develop, and contribute effectively.
