Ensures the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in bank branches and offices, performing routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on systems like elevator, power, and fire protection. They coordinate with contractors, manage preventative maintenance schedules, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, monitor energy consumption, and provide technical support for building operations, often responding to emergencies to prevent disruptions. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for elevator, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Perform regular inspections of building equipment and systems to identify issues and ensure they meet safety standards. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. Test systems and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards and operating guidelines. Diagnose and resolve failures in electrical wiring, power distribution, and other mechanical/electrical components. Liaise with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair work. Monitor and maintain backup generators, UPS systems, and power distribution to ensure continuous operations. Implement strategies to optimize energy consumption and promote sustainability. Provide technical advice and support for M&E-related issues and coordinate with other teams, such as IT. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join Myanmar Metro Bank as a Manager in the Compliance function. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s operations fully comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and fraud prevention measures, as well as fostering a culture of compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Compliance Management Monitor new and existing legislative and regulatory requirements and recommend effective policy updates to support organizational goals. Ensure robust implementation of AML, CFT, and fraud prevention policies throughout the bank. Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and report findings to senior management. Build and maintain professional relationships with regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Myanmar. Support internal compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. 2. Policy Implementation & Monitoring Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies, manuals, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory standards. Track and report suspicious transactions in accordance with AML/CFT obligations. Support business units by advising on compliance requirements for new products, services, and initiatives. Monitor employee and branch-level compliance with operational standards, escalating issues where necessary. 3. Training and Compliance Education Design and deliver training programs on compliance, AML/CFT, and fraud prevention to employees at all levels. Promote awareness of compliance culture and best practices across the bank. Provide guidance to staff on interpreting and applying compliance policies.
