Direct English - World Leader in English Education, is a global English language training franchise – already delivering quality training in many countries worldwide. We are looking for a qualified and well-experienced Academic Director who possesses managerial, administrative, facilitation, and customer service skills, apart from extensive teaching experiences.

As an Academic Director, you will also get the opportunity to develop further as part of an international team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the whole academic team and ensure effective scheduling of classes, extra-curricular activities and events
- Arrange inductions and provide “Direct English teaching methods” for new teachers; lead regular teacher training workshops
- Deliver tutor lessons and conversation classes to the highest standards
- Assess academic staff’s performance and provide constructive feedback together with developmental plans
- Work closely with the Center Director and other managers to ensure inter-departmental co-operation and effective communication
- Assist Product Development in testing and implementing new Direct English products and courses
- Participate in educational and/or marketing seminars and meeting with potential corporate customers as necessary
- Other tasks as assigned by the CEO from time to time.

Desired Candidate Attributes
- At least 3 years of management experience in English educational field
- Customer-centric mindset
- Excellent in training, team building, communication and coaching
- CELTA/Trinity Cert (or equivalent) and ESL teaching experience
- Experience of blended learning method is desirable.
