Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

• Handle day-to-day accounting processes, including reconciliations and data validations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Regulatory Reporting Support:

• Assist in preparing regulatory reports and ensuring timely submission.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and assess their impact.

Policy Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures in daily operations.
• Provide recommendations for policy updates as needed.

Financial Data Integrity:

• Conduct data checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial systems.
• Address and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Internal and External Audit Support:

• Prepare audit schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors to address queries and findings.

Process Improvements:

• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to financial workflows.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to align financial data and ensure compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Familiarity with MAS/IFRS standards and Central Bank Myanmar regulations.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
