We are looking for an application developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework or Java. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.

In this role, you should be able to write functional code. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. You must be passionate about the software design/architecture.

Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

• Primary Responsibilities
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (or) Java
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

• A recognized degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• 3 – 5 years of experience in .NET / Java development
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET, JSP, Servlet, JPA, Spring, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns ( e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC) )
• Knowledge of Web server technologies (IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc.)
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET (e.g. C#) / Java language and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, etc.)
• Understanding of Software methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Proficiency in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as MS SQL or Oracle will be advantageous.
