Underwriter plays the main role of shared risk management responsibilities between the sales management force and the risk management
Examine the credit history of the applicant, the purpose for the loan, collateral, the applicant's ability to pay back the loan and any financial risks involved
Verifying that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date, and that the applicant has the financial ability to repay the loan in full
Analyzing the loan amount requested is suitable for applicant's financial situation information and if there are other loan options that may be more appropriate
Evaluating loan applicant's credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk involved in lending money to them
Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, Additional/Renewal requests, refinancing and annual due diligence
Evaluating the financial status of borrower by producing financial ratios
Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to Section Head, especially findings that involve a borrower’s credit-worthiness before submitting to Credit committees for their approval
Preparing credit reports based upon analysis of borrower for submission to Credit Committee

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

Bachelor of Business Management / Commerce / Finance / Accounting / Economics
At least (5) years of related working experience within a retail bank with progressive underwriting experience
Sound and effective interpersonal & communication skills in both Myanmar and English languages
Strong proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage effectively competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
