The AWS System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software solution from both the application, infrastructure and security perspective. The ideal candidate should possess a good balance understanding business processes and technical expertise. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

nvestigate technical application issues to find the root cause and liaise with the internal or external teams for issue resolution.

• Supporting the software development team in implementing infrastructure changes and enhancements. Liaise between infrastructure providers and development team for issue resolution.

• Monitor and maintain the health and availability of business-critical systems.

• Maintain and ensure optimal performance within all AWS Cloud infrastructure for all software environments (PRD, UAT, QA).

• Security requirements are enforced throughout organization assets.

• Constantly validating systems security policies to ensure that they are well maintained and updated. Reviewing current security processes and implementing new technologies on our systems to keep up with the current security trends and threats.

• Perform periodic tests to ensure that Disaster Recovery processes are updated.

Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in computer science or Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of experience in supporting a multi-tiered, multi-tenant data centric application delivered in SaaS model.

• Proficient in writing scripts (SQL, VB, Python, PowerShell).

• Good knowledge on Linux. Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016.would be a plus.

• 2 years working experience as an AWS SysOps/DevOps administrator.

• AWS Certification in DevOps Engineer – Professional is a plus or at the minimum, AWS Certification in SysOps Administrator.

• Familiar with Office tools.

• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work effectively in a cross-functional global environment and be a great team player.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Self-motivated and pro-active in resolving application and infrastructure issues. Candidates will need to be creative and able to learn, design and use various tools to resolve issues.
