Description of the Position:

 

Food and beverage supervisors are responsible for the daily operations of businesses that prepare and serve food and drinks to the customers. Food and beverage supervisors oversee all of the issues pertaining to a patron's dining experience, such as quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations and customer service.

 

Relevant Operational Tasks and Duties:

 

  1. Manage day to day operation of the venue, specifically The Todday Bar both tea & alcohol bar service operation
  2. Offer genuine sense of hospitality at each point of guest contact and prepare drinks at the highest quality by following proper measurements and recipes
  3. Calculate the cost of all beverage related products 
  4. Purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
  5. Identify customers’ needs and train proactively to members of the team to target improvement
  6. Responsible for the maintenance of the bar including cleanliness and upkeep of work space, menu upkeep, cleaning of guest areas, tools, equipment and work orders
  7. Controls and analyses quality levels of product and service, guest satisfaction, merchandising and marketing, operating costs and sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene
  8. Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  9. Provide leadership support to the bar team in absence of leader
  10. Account for all liquor and bar stock, its quality, and the product received, maintain liquor inventory, assist with monthly liquor inventory and verify inventory data
  11. To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the outlet
  12. The ability to be happy and welcoming, responsive and solution oriented is a must
  13. Report to the group beverage manager regarding sales results and team productivity and outlet’s daily performances

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in related fields.

• Experience creating strong, engaging content.

• A portfolio of applicable outputs.

• Strong listening and communication skills.

• The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
