MDIF partner Myanmar Now is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager.

• Develop Myanmar Now’s subscription service offerings to domestic and international media
• Develop and manage key business/financial partnerships
• Develop paid content opportunities and pitch to external affiliate partners in order to drive business and revenue goals
• Make direct advertising sales for Myanmar Now website
• Develop sales materials, media kits and other marketing materials
• Develop advertising sales forecasts and plans
• Present quarterly business reviews and new growth opportunities
• Provide regular updates to the Myanmar Now leadership on the above.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

• A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of marketing experience
• Experience working in a corporate strategy, business development or marketing function in a media is highly preferred.
• Have a strong understanding of digital media landscapes and tools
• Be comfortable in a subscriptions, sales and account management role
• Be a strategic and creative/innovative thinker, with a particular emphasis on evaluating new opportunities
• Be capable of providing strategic guidance for developing, offering or acquiring digital media products and services
• Have superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels and externally with business partners, including exceptional
organizational, prioritization and time management skills
• Be able to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent, sound judgment
• Excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
• Be a strong relationship builder with both internal and external partners
• Have the capacity to work in a small team environment
