Communication Officer
Reporting to : Communications Manager

Major Responsibilities
1. Develop, support and promote company goals, including message development, social media content creation
2. Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones and basic knowledge in photo shooting
3. Work closely with communication manager and executives to develop and strengthen employee engagement activities
4. Support the Communications Manager with any other communications projects and activities and perform other duties and tasks as required
5. Prepare communications work plans and progress reports in a timely basis, as mutually agreed, with the Communication Manager
6. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
7. Fluent in spoken and written Burmese and English
8. Participate in team and other organizational meetings or working groups as required.
9. Traveling to rural areas and work overtime if required

Job requirement
1. University degree in communications, journalism, media, marketing or related subject. In the absence of a degree, professional experience and proven results in those areas;
• At least 1-2 years relevant professional experience:
• Proven track record of gathering story assets: interviews, photos, video and drafting a text & visual narrative
• Proven track record in documenting and supporting projects, events and media engagement.

2. Experience doing research using multiple sources
3. Familiarity with web publications
4. Familiarity with online and social media
5. Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Myanmar
6. Ability to meet deadlines
