Organization/Leadership:

• Manage the office in a ethical and compliant way aligned with company values.
• Develop the organization within Sustainability according to future strategy need.
• Manage recruitment, staff development and retention of talent within Sustainability.
• Have an overview of the team organization and their need of support & education within Sustainability.
• Develop the role and its tools.

General supplier management:

• Improve and develop factory performance in terms of sustainability.
• Secure that set company social and environmental sustainability standards and routines are followed by supplier/factories..
• Act as a support and professional partner towards factory management.

Sustainability:

• In collaboration with Global and Regional Sustainability set Myanmar Sustainability Goals and be responsible for the result of this market.
• Understanding the challenges of the market, work proactively to mitigate business risks connected to social sustainability
• Actively engage with relevant industry stakeholders to develop company business and the fashion industry  in a sustainable way, protect company brand
• Coaching and supporting factories in leveling up in social and environmental sustainability as per company requirements.
• Understand the bigger picture and drive the market sustainability agenda
• Drive projects such as company Women empowerment program in the factories, monitoring and following up of progress as well as supporting factories.
• Be part of the global sustainability team and contribute to the overall global sustainability strategy work.

Characteristics and Qualifications:

• Prefered chinese languages speaker
• Well experienced in sustainability and supplier management.
• Experiences: 8-10 years of working experiences, preferable in an international environment.  Knowledge from the fashion industry and Myanmar.
• In depth knowledge and experience from social Sustainability and/or Human rights
• Language; Fluent English and Mandarin in speak and writing, preferred ability in Burmese
• Excellent communication skills and people management ability.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Pragmatic problem solver
• Open minded, positive and business minded approach.
