The Position
Based in Yangon, Myanmar and reporting to General Manager and Financial Controller, you will be a crucial part of a flexible high performing team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial results of the company in addition to implementing and maintaining Group compliance.

In this position, you will:
• Coordinate within the company and Group and prepare Budgets
• Ensure generation of reliable financial statements of the company, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement, among others
• Establish and maintain robust financial systems, process and financial controls to ensure integrity and reliability of financial statements and information
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls over key business processes and financial reporting
• Drive the business plan, budgets and rolling forecasts processes with local management and exercise a critical and independent review
• Guide business in meeting short to long term goals by providing relevant financial as well as non-financial information and business insights at the right time and quality and to the right people
• Assess the company’s financial performance and advise management team on relevant risks or potential conflicts
• Provide leadership in allocating financial resources and in providing business advice and counsel to management in meeting business objectives in line with profitability objectives of the company
• Challenge organizational effectiveness and efficiency throughout all functions, including finance (organization, systems, and processes)
• Create and nurture a winning team by providing leadership & direction
• Manage the performance, development & succession processes according to Company’s HR practices

 Preparation of monthly financial Statements (Consolidated Level)
 Timely financial reporting to Group Level
 IFRS accounting standard and statutory compliance
 Accounts Review and Analysis
 Budgeting and Forecasting
 Implementing accounting system and policies and procedures
 Setting up and providing support to businesses finance teams
 Liaising with auditors and tax authority
 Ad hoc assigned as required

For Group Finance
• Bachelor’s degree with preferably CPA/CA
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with 2 years managerial role in Myanmar
• “Hands-on” and proactive work attitude
• A self starter, with capacity to work autonomously but also as a part of a team
• Confidence and capacity to lead
• Strong interpersonal and communications skill

For Real Estate
• have 8-10 years of experience in finance preferably in Construction or Real Estate Business
• have a professional Accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA) or University Degree/MBA
• are fluent in English and have strong communication skills
• have at least 3 years of local affiliate experience
• display strong leadership competencies with a track record of strong performance
• have knowledge/experience around ERP Systems
• have previous line management experience
• have previous budget and/or cost center responsibility
• are a respected finance professional with a strong reputation
• have an expanded global perspective and broad functional experiences.
