Thisaworks is looking for a dynamic, innovative go-getter to help implement its vision in Myanmar. As the Head of Business Development, you will be:
• Co-developing and executing the marketing strategy for Thitsaworks
• Building relationships with all government and customer meetings or events
• Developing generic and customer-specific sales materials and objection handlers
• Executing sales pipeline
• Maintaining relationships with upselling / cross-selling opportunities
• Lobbying for industry-wide MIS adoption
• Keeping track of developments in competitors' products
• Staying up to date with global fintech trends, and assessing their applicability in Myanmar financial services sector
• Identifying opportunities for new or improved products/services to better meet customer needs
• Identifying and developing new revenue streams for entire business
• Establishing systems to manage and evaluate teams' performances vs. KPIs

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

We are looking for someone that has the drive to win, with excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, some technical background and a customer-centric mindset. You must be a fluent Myanmar and English speaker, and ideally, have some experience of either working or studying abroad.

You should have:
• A degree from a reputable foreign university
• Preferably, you will come from a Myanmar microfinance or business development background. An extensive network within the Myanmar microfinance or broader financial sector is also a big advantage
• Independent, self-starter and go-getter: an entrepreneurial mindset with a great personality; start-up experience is a bonus
• You must be comfortable in chasing leads and closing deals
• Good leadership skill, be a team player and is able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Complete fluency in both English and Myanmar
• Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a high-paced startup environment
