Job Responsibilities:
A. Finance & Accounts
i. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual report summarising and forecasting company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earning based on past, present, and expected operation, supervises, lead to managers.
ii. Overseeing short term and long term finance for the company from banks and other institutions.
iii. Analysing existing accounting procedures/ systems and restructuring them to attain optimum efficiency levels.
iv. Monthly book debts / Stock statements, ILC, Daily Bank operations, interest calculation.
v. Handling & coordinating Statutory (External) Auditor & Internal Auditor.
vi. Assisting in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
vii. Training the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
viii. Participate in developing new business.
ix. Provide the Shareholders with an operating budget.
B. Budgeting & MIS
i. Formulating annual budgets, cash flow statements and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
ii. Preparing financial reports (based on cash flow/ debtors' outstanding statements and costing, budgeting cash expenditure of profit centre) as per analysis; suggesting measures to keep a track of the financial performances.
C. Taxation
i.Over all control commercial tax, WHT, PIT, SSB & corporate tax
D. Skill Set
i. Overall authority for the financial operation of the organisation, audit, taxation & accounting.
ii. Skilled in the overseeing the accounting functions to finalisation; Key Area preparing P&L Account, Balance sheet, Cash Flow, Financial Accounting, MIS Reports, Account Statements & budget etc.
iii. Expertise in projecting future outlook to Finance thereby ensuring achievement on month over month basis; Handling the financial planning and control.
iv. Ability to improve operations, impact business growth and maximise profits through achievements in carrying out Finance Management, Finance/ Business Control/ Analysis & improvement through effective planning.
v. Possess ability to analyze, gather, write, evaluate and produce detailed MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial and operational performance.
vi. Deft in conducting analysis to assess the financial results & profitability implications, identifying business risks & implementing mechanisms to mitigate the same.
