This position is participating to the responsibility of the smooth running of each operation participating to the put a product on the market, at the determined moment, location, conditioning, quantity, and service associated.
He/ she will be responsible of the management of the Human Resources including:
The participation of the determining of the resources needed: staff, equipment (HES), etc...
The usage of the resources according to the Government Rules & Regulation, the participation of the follow up of individual potential, the development of the capacity of these resources.
The daily follow up of the individual performance of these resources, the communication with the resources and the recruitment
The quality of the results delivered is measured with specific KPIs:
1- Management: Autonomous, communication, leadership
2- Technics: respect of SOP and the government rules & regulation, set up of tools, set up of follow up
3- Financial: competitive costs, cost reduction (less staff but with better productivity and salary)
As our staff is working 24/7, the HR manager has flexible hours work in order to check the presence of the staff and to have meeting with them. In other words:
he have to be ready to work during the night and during the week end
he have to be ready to travel Myanmar wide
Basic Functions:
1• Handle the responsibility of the operations of HR management (supported by the group)
2• Staff Management: participate to create an atmosphere favorable to good performance: training, promotion of efficiency and effectively, capacity building, evolvement, rewards, respect of SOP, research of improvement, promote values (honesty, team spirit …) …
3• Develop a Logistics Mindset: think at the same time: global Company interest, and small very practical actions, be structured and organized with permanently the priorities in mind.
4• Develop Communication: Participate to provide a clear visibility of the costs, functioning, risks & opportunities
Job Functions:
1• Anticipation: Have a planning for the evolving of the activity operation per operation, for the training, for the resources … (pro-active)
2• Agility: be ready to setup solutions at the best cost: support of aggressive action (marketing & merchandising actions), or strike of the drivers, or city events.
3• Reliability: be realistic and pragmatic, and guaranty that each data/ information is right, each planning and SOP is respected, confidentiality is respected.
4• Sustainability: each action (decision is action) must be long term oriented. Any repetitive issues must be systematically eliminated (solved) in order to avoid the facing of an accumulation of problems at a highest cost.
Key Results:
• Operations must be profitable: competitive salaries for the acquisition of the best candidates, with global costs lower and lower (by the increase of the productivity)
• Existence of:
1• KPIs: weekly and monthly communicated with regularity
Staffing: existing quantity of staff per operation (productivity), OT, regular staff and temporary staff, turn over, average of the seniority….
Individual development: training, productivity, incident, etc…
Financial: cost per piece delivered, cost per operation per piece delivered…
2• Planning: resources, training, OT…
3• Data base: list of the JD for each operation, promotion organization, appraisal organization (every 3 months), list & data base of the staff (tracking record), Staff follow up…
• Autonomy: must be able to handle the function and propose several solutions to her/his manager only when necessary
• Leadership: the staff considers the HR manager as a professional and a respected leader.
• Improvement: every week there is an achievement (planning, data base, problem solved…)

Due to the capacity of communication needed, languages are essential: Myanmar, English (Western knowledge), Chinese
Must be able to manipulate figures (ready to work on Excel)
Show significant achievements done by the past, and a personality of leader
Show accuracy and awareness to details (to guaranty the reliability)
Show a positive attitude and be solution oriented (logistics is always confronted to negative contexts and to difficulties)
Show the courage to tell when it’s wrong, to communicate and to decide (within limits)
Capacity to learn (import tools/ concept from abroad and adapt them to Myanmar)
Capacity to communicate the reality of the situation (very important)
Capacity to be responsible (response-able with pragmatism, at the relevant moment)
