  • Learn to Maintain instrumentation, DCS control systems controlling the process and utility systems, fire & gas protection / detection and emergency shutdown in a safe and competent manner, under the direct supervision of a Lead Instrument Technician.
  • Learn to Safeguard the availability and operating condition so that production targets are achieved.
  • Learn to Verify that fire & gas detection / protection systems are maintained for maximum reliability and availability.
  • Assist your Mentor with completing on time all maintenance related safety and audit action items allocated to the Instrument section.
  • Learn to diagnose and report to Mentor all faults to ensure maximum equipment availability.
  • Learn to repair, test and certify all instrumentation & electronic components and equipment.
  • Develop the ability to monitor and record the performance, failures and serviceability of all instrumentation systems and equipment and report on the activities undertaken.
  • Learn to collect data and information required for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance.
  • Learn to read P&IDs and to competently interpret technical drawings & specification documents, specific to SHP.
  • Perform all Tasks safely under the Permit To Work System.
  • Undertake the responsibility of studying each and every module assigned in the CAMS Programme, to ensure that all required skills are developed, validated & signed off.
  • Ensure that all work conducted will be done so in a safe manner, utilising all safety equipment & PPE necessary to complete the specific tasks within the Permit To Work system.
  • Understand and utilise the Lock Out/ Tag Out system to safely complete specific work.
  • Works within the statutory Health and Safety Procedures and the Permit-to-Work system.
  • All tasks undertaken are to be carried out under the Direct Supervision & Coaching of the assigned Lead Technician.
  • Complete respective CAMS modules for development of the following:- Maintain instrumentation DCS control systems controlling the process and utility systems, fire & gas protection / detection and emergency shutdown in a safe and competent manner, under the direct supervision of a Lead Instrument Technician.
  • Safeguard the availability and operating condition so that production targets are achieved.

  • Verify that fire & gas detection / protection systems are maintained for maximum reliability and availability.
  • Assist with completing on time, all maintenance related safety and audit action items allocated to the Instrument section.
  • Diagnose and report to Mentor all faults to ensure maximum equipment availability.

  • Assist other trades and disciplines within limits of experience and capability.
  • Collect data and information required for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance.
  • Read P&IDs and to competently interpret technical drawings & specification documents, specific to SHP.
  • Input data on a daily basis into the CMMS & close out Work Orders, maintaining accurate Equipment history. Perform all Tasks safely under the Permit To Work System.
  • Undertake the responsibility of studying each and every module assigned in the CBTA Programme, to ensure that all required skills are developed, validated & signed off within the assigned time frame.
  • Attend all Job Safety Analysis or Task Risk Assessments as & when required.
  • Attend all Toolbox Talks as & when required.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Fluency in English both written & spoken with good personal / interpersonal skills.
  • Culturally aware with experience of working with multi-national workforces.
  • Instrument Trade Certificate / Technical diploma in Instrument / Automation engineering.
  • Practical experience of Instrumentation maintenance on Process and Utilities equipment, on Gas Facilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely within an established Safety Management System.
  • Ability to source information and drawings and interpret scematics, drawings and vendor package data.
