1. To assist Deputy Manager-Internal Control and Audit in development of annual audit plan and accomplish the audit coverage for the company.
2. Assist to Deputy Manager (Internal control and Audit) for internal control activities.
3. Visit to the branch offices according to the annual audit plan and assigned by DM (Internal control and Audit).
4. Conduct audit field work at the branches according to the guideline of Internal Audit check list. Participate in actual field work as appropriate to ensure quality of work and procedures
5. Prepare the draft findings with recommendation for improvements and report to DM (Internal control and Audit).
6. Ensure provided verbal and written reports that are clear, accurate, timely, concise, transparent and free of bias on the result of audit examinations, including recommendations for improvements and disclosure of internal control weaknesses and deficient conditions.
7. Conduct follow up of the internal audit reports implementation and capture the follow up condition of the branches at next internal audit finding report.
8. Follow up the proper procedure for risk management and internal control system of the Company.
9. To assist Deputy Manager-Internal Control and Audit in determining the extent of the company’s compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
10. Draft semi-annual and annual reports on activities and results of the internal audit activities.
11. Ensure internal audit processes developed are followed while performing internal audit works.
12. Ensure Audit files and other related documents are safely maintained.
13. Maintain good working relationship with all stakeholders.
14. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor in addition to normal responsibilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS – INTERNAL AUDIT ASSISTANT

• Bachelor's degree (preferably certificate holder of accounting or audit) with at least one year relevant experience.
• Preferably in the field of Microfinance program.
• Strong accounting skill and computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must have good communication skill, planning skill, organizing skill and ability to manage and prioritize tasks
• Strong ethical commitment to impartiality, integrity and transparency;
• Analytical judgment, adaptability, flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and commitment to work in a participative way.
• Ability to work independently/Able to work under minimum supervision and has strong team spirit.
• Good written and oral communication skill in Myanmar and English.
• Able to travel frequently to the branches in all regions which have company’s operations.
