To assist supervisor to achieve the department target.
To keep and restore the guest’s laundry, Linen and staff uniforms to the best possible standard/
Act in a pleasant, cheerful and courteous way and alert at all times. Follow up the telephone courtesy.
Has a good understanding of people, genuine interest in housekeeping service and thorough knowledge of guest facilities.
Attend the daily briefing conducted by Laundry Supervisor.
Issue the house linen to the room attendant for the unit.
Receive the soil linen for the unit and check the quantity properly.
Check, separate and remark the guest laundry for marker, checker, washing, dry cleaning and pressing. Follow up the issuing and receiving of linen fan uniform procedure.
Send the outside laundry service for bed sheets, guest laundry for dry cleaning.
Set up properly for the guest laundry, staff uniform and linens at the shelf and trolley with hanger.
Wash, dry and press for the staff uniform, guest laundry and soiled linens.
Cooperate with F & B, Room attendant, P.A attendant for the linen.
Attend and participate in departmental meetings when directly assigned by HOD. Report accident to HOD.
To perform the other duties assigned by Management.
To assist supervisor for taking care of guest laundry, linen and staff uniforms.
To liaison with Restaurant for restaurant lien issuing and laundry.
To control staff from all level for uniform issuing.
To liaison with Finance for monthly inventory checking.
To assist supervisor.
To fulfill customer requirement.
To carry out the duty that prescribes by the Manager or Supervisor.
Laundry Attendant may be employed on a full-time, casual and usually work in shifts.
Laundry Attendant must be prepared to work irregular hours and to stand for long periods.
