Ensure data and information in loan applications is accurate and of acceptable quality, and ensure also authenticity of documentation
Process loan applications in compliance with bank policies, meeting investor guidelines and demonstrating lending strategies
Meet with potential customers to assess their needs, collect data, verify documents and ensure the completion of applications
Evaluate and check loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness
Improve loan applications and documentation by informing applicant of additional requirements
Conduct home verification visits and reference checks to verify the residency of potential customers
Reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants
Approve loan by issuing checks or forwarding applications to loan committee
Complete loan contracts by explaining provisions to applicant, obtaining signatures and notarizations and collecting fees
Help customers by answering questions and responding to requests
Maintain customer confidence by keeping loan information confidential
