  • Plan and supervise the shipments from Distribution Centers to the retail stores.
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, and delivery frequency.
  • Ensure cold chain products are maintained/transported within a specified low-temperature range.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Workers to ensure proper storage and distribution of products.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
  • Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
  • Managing drivers and monitoring driver behavior, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Organize training sessions for drivers (e.g., proper use of machines/vehicles and handling of hazardous material).
  • Maintaining vehicles for deliveries.
  • Ensuring strict vehicle servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  • Complying with transport laws and regulations.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation and customer issues.
  • Utilizing vehicle management systems to ensure the product quality is maintained and the safety of the products is assured, protecting against theft and misuse.
  • Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.

  • Proven work experience in the fields of Logistics Management/Fleet & Transportation or similar role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with logistics software/vehicle management system.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • English literate & Computer literate.
