Job Description for College Principal
1. Teaching and course preparation
2. Academic planning
3. Student counselling
4. Academic teaching staff management
- Manage teachers and related courses
- Manage teachers attendance / predefine plan for teacher’s absence
5. Student management
- Prepare disciplines for students
- Check daily attendance
- Check monthly attendance reports
- Identify/take actions on absentees
6. Academic management
- Set exams and exam dates
- Prepare to mark schemes and manage to mark
- Manage for substitute class (when teacher is absent)
- Oversee coordination
- Prepare for seminars
- Do information talks
7. Overall college management
- Check all around the college (internal & external)
- Manage reports submitted by college manager
- Make meeting with the staff (as scheduled & ad-hoc)
- Identify plans, works for college manager for development of college
- Check/evaluate the overall performance of the college staff
