• Manages/ Coordinates CAPEX projects on site/in region
• Responsible for putting together and tracking local CapEx budget
• Responsible for Long Term Development Plan on site
• Responsible for following Group Capex governance cycle from start to finish
• Feasibility through to execution and follow up
• Managing the RFA(project approval process) which involves business plan preparation.
• Manages project engineers on site during main projects (for suppliers)
• Manages contractors on site through supplier project managers
• Liaises closely with Group Capex team in Governance process
• Sets up MCRS with key stakeholders to ensure structured communication and engagement of all.
• Planning, Production, Local Maintenance Team, Local EHS team,Group
• Responsible that projects comply with HSE, quality standards and legal requirements
• Escalation issues - major downtimes, HSE and quality issues in accordance with the agreed escalation process – to all stakeholders
• Responsible for the completion of individual development plan for any direct reports (competencies and skills) e.g.: Project Engineers
• Initiates and participates in problem solving activities to bridge performance gaps - using company standards
• Participate in the GEMBA Kaizen process.

Education:  Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.

Other Qualifications: Project management skill, Microsoft office, Auto cad and MS projects

Language: English / Burmese / Chinese (preferred but not a must to have)

Years & Type of Experience:   7 to 15 years, managing projects greenfield and brownfield and knowledge of maintenance and operation of the factory.
