Frontiir is looking for well-qualified candidates for Senior Director of Software Engineering to perform the following functions:
• Provide leadership to multiple groups of engineers in a fast-paced environment
• Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as design review, continuous integration and test driven development
• Conduct regular resource planning reviews and work with assistant directors to manage various projects and produce deliverable on time
• Oversee release management prior to production launches
• Structure and periodically review engineering resource needs and help hire well-qualified individuals to fill required positions
• Develop strategic processes and key performance indicators to help evaluate team’s efficiency and performance.
• Hands on and be able to dig deep with individual engineers to help unblock issues
• Foster an open, team-oriented and results-oriented culture

• 6 years of progressive experience in engineering management roles
• 4 years of hands-on, proven software engineering development experience
• Experience with large scale Linux-based systems delivering services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Burmese and English
Preferred Job Qualifications
• MS in Computer Science or related engineering field
